NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A wanted Nashville man was arrested following a shoplifting incident in Mount Juliet, according to Mount Juliet police.
Police said they were alerted by a license plate reader camera to a vehicle connected to a person wanted in a shoplifting incident that occurred Dec. 11 at Walmart.
Officers were able to stop the car on South Mt. Juliet Road near Providence, where they arrested a 28-year-old Nashville man.
MJPD said the man had an active warrant out for his arrest.
“Another great example of technology and teamwork keeping Mt. Juliet safe!” according to MJPD.
